Rain
Why does it fall down
Gravity some may say
That simply is the way it is others say
But like life
Sometimes the simplest answers hide deeper truths
Why do bad things happen to good people
Life is like that sometimes some say
Into every one’s life a little rain must fall
Could there be a deeper truth
Why do we expect this adventure to be otherwise
Our expectations tell us how life is to be
You do what is right and good things follow
The biggest fallacy in life
This leads to thinking like
I can earn God’s Love by my good deeds
Which leads to a trip to heaven
Life lived on a daily basis tells us
No this isn’t true
For sometimes God created a day with rain
Or a day with a loved one dying
Or even a senseless accident
So what do we do with what we define as the bad in life
Change it into good
For now we don’t have to earn love
Or fix the unfixable
We can let go of our expectations
And discover life simply being what it is
